On the first day back from vacation, I tend to over trade. Four trades today. 2 Breakouts, the second one didn’t follow the rules and was a loser. I reversed an salvaged a few dollars from the mistake. The reversal was a delayed fib trade. The last was a counter trend from 12411 area. It seemed like a good bet,mainly because I could set a close stop below 12400.See Today’s Results

One really good trade today. Entered on a breakout (actually after a pullback from the breakout. See the forum article found here.) I also used an exit technique that I learned from Neal Hughes (aka fibmaster). The net result was 40 points!

Slow day while traders wait for he Fed announcement tomorrow.
First trade was a breakout with target 1.6 of the last move. Th e second trade was a counter trend short at 12444. The prior trade reached its target and there is resistance at 12450. Initial target was 12426, but I got impatient and exited at 12430.
